Privacy Policy
The MCC collects personal information from its members, such as name, address, phone
numbers, email addresses and birth dates. Information is provided by members for
members on a voluntary basis. Even when a member has made their information
visible, a valid username and password are required to enter the part of the web
site where that information is displayed. The general public does not have access
to any personal information.
The church will never sell or rent personal information to any outside party. Parents
with children under the age of 13 may choose, or permit, information about the child
to be stored in the web site database. This information is solely intended to facilitate
communication between members. Personal information never goes in the Bulletin (printed
or on this site) without prior consent. Names of individuals which appear in the
church bulletin as part of event or schedule announcements may be included when
posted on this site.
Photograph Policy
We believe that the use of images of church activities and events is a valuable
tool in creating an attractive, accurate and relevant on-line representation of
MCC and its activities. Therefore, we occasionally include photographs taken by
members of church activities on our website. In order to protect the privacy of
MCC members and friends, we generally do not provide personal identification information
along with photographs. In cases where identification is warranted, it will only
be included with the permission of the person or parent of the person being photographed.
If you see a photograph of yourself or your child that you prefer not be included
on the site, or if you would like to ensure that no photo of you or your child is
used on the site, please contact the Church office or the Webmaster. We'll make
the necessary arrangements to comply with your request.
